Affiliate Marketing is possibly the best business model that anyone can use to become financially free and even become very rich (yes I said rich). It’s usually the first source of income for a successful online entrepreneur as it’s very inexpensive if not free to get started and it can yield very big profits for you in a short period of time.
Here I will guide you through how to make money online for beginners. However, there are some things to understand if you have not explored this multi-billion dollar income stream.

I know there are literally endless videos and articles on the internet that just show you how to get onto ClickBank and they’re gonna show you how to create an account and how to find the top-selling products with a high gravity score. I won’t talk about that kind of stuff here because that’s not really important. After all, you probably already know how to do that unless you are brand new to it. I want to talk about the actual strategy of how to sell them.
One of the most newbie mistakes that markets make just coming in is they snatch up a ClickBank link with super high gravity and start posting it on Facebook or maybe if they are feeling a little black hat-ish they might try and spam blog comments sections with no moderation or YT comments sections.
With that being said there is a right way and a wrong way to do things. There are some critical factors when talking about being successful with affiliate marketing.
Trust Factor
In order for you to make any serious money with affiliate marketing, you must have some sort of audience. The best way to do that is to give away free information through YT videos, blog posts (like I am doing here), and or forums.
When you do this you create this invisible bond between you and your audience and one thing that I have learned is that many people will buy from you or through you based on your recommendation because they like you and have built up some trust with you.
I personally find myself doing this all the time. Also, understand what your viewership or readers want as this will help you pinpoint what exactly to promote to them. Is their issue not having any money to get started, traffic generation, just being a complete beginner, or all of the above, etc?
Anyone going through your sales funnels will automatically be like ha this person actually cares about my issues because they’re not just trying to sell me random junk.
You create your own content (or you can outsource it) but don’t get me wrong it doesn’t have to be super high production. You don’t need to have Lamborghinis in the background. You don’t have to have naked girls running everywhere and you don’t need to have a mansion or a swimming pool. You don’t need any of that stuff.
All you need to do is you need to learn a little bit about your industry and if the industry you decide to be in for example is “weight loss” then you need to do some in-depth research on that subject. It’s not hard for you to just Google it and learn a little bit about weight loss. That’s all the difference between someone who is lazy and wants a quick sale vs someone who’s smart and wants to make a lot of money from a long-term business.
You have to play the long game this is a marathon it’s not a sprint but understand this if you implement this strategy properly you will make sales very quickly because you’re gonna build a relationship with your prospects and then they’re going to want to buy your stuff or anything you refer to them. Every time you release a piece of free content you leave the link to your JVzoo product below your free content but weight loss is just an example you can do this with any industry and make some serious money.
One tip is if you know of a really good service or product that you like or own. You can just go to Google and type in the name of the product or service “XYZ affiliate program/affiliates”.
Everyone always talks about getting signed up with ClickBank and shows all these Clickbank tutorials on YT because there is no application process and it easily shows you the most popular products and top-selling in a nice format. People do make lots of money from ClickBank but most don’t make any money on ClickBank that try to.
Some people say that CB’s products are not very high quality and therefore will be harder to sell or promote. But I don’t always agree with that statement as I have had luck with CB in the past and continue to do so. However, some of the products are junk but definitely not all of them. Nothing is black and white. You also have private marketers with affiliate programs that are not listed in any affiliate network.
Being a reviewer of many products in a competitive niche is a very effective way to make money online. Just find all the top products in that niche and do honest reviews if you buy six different products that compete with each other and do very in-depth reviews then many people will take notice and click on your affiliate links. That is one way.
Promote Product Launches
Another way to go about this is to promote affiliate products by looking at products that are just about to be released or have just very recently been released so when you promote them there is very little competition for those keywords and that will give you an edge. If you want to promote products in the “make money online” niche there is a great site called Muncheye.
From there you can see what products are about to be released or have just been released. Then just click on a product you want to promote and then most of the time but not all the time there should be a JV page link. Just click on that link to get information about the product so you can do some type of review.
A pro tip is to look at reviews already made for the product and then rewrite them. You can easily do this yourself with a tool called Quillbot it can paraphrase and text for you and it’s really good at doing it.
I would take text from 2 or 3 different reviews then use Quillbot to make it yours and also try to make your review a little longer than the other ones out there on the internet just so you have a better chance of ranking higher on Google search.
So if you select a product to promote that is listed on JVZoo for example you will need to have an account with JVZoo to request the affiliate link. There are also links you can get from ClickBank and Warrior Plus as well. You should also research the name of the product creator or creators to see what other products they have made in the past and their reputation just so you can have extra confirmation that there is a high likelihood then you will make money promoting that product.
If you were in a different niche you could also find product launches with Facebook groups and on community forums. Additionally, you can also browse through blogs and newsletters to see what they are promoting and look for a sign up to become an affiliate button or something like that, and then you could contact the owner and see when they will launch another product especially if they already have several for sale.
Simple Action Plan for Product Promotion
Create a written review of the product or it could just be a very detailed description of the product itself, what it offers, and what problems it will solve, and make it at least 1,500 words long (I know that sounds like a lot but it’s really not).
You could have someone write a review for you on Fiverr if you don’t want to make it yourself just to save time. Just take a recent review and have someone with a good rating rewrite it for you, may people do this and it works. Then upload that review to a site called Medium to get exposure. This site has very high authority in Google and you should rank very high very quickly especially considering there is no competition as I mentioned earlier.
Also, try to get a picture of the product from the JV page on your review as well, and obviously add your affiliate link at the bottom of the review, and voila! This is very easy to do anyone can use this trick to make a ton of money without a website.
Another great site you can use that is free is Google Sites. This allows you to upload content to the internet without having your own site just to get started and if you have long lengthy content that is unique and interesting and you stay consistent with your reviews or uploading schedule you can get lots of high-quality buyer traffic very fast. This is a hack that not many marketers talk about because it’s so good and works really well.
The good news is that if someone clicks on your affiliate link but they don’t buy right away but they come back and buy later you still get a commission because of cookies. Every affiliate network is different in terms of how long the link click is tracked for that time can vary.
If you wanted to take this process a step further you could buy a domain name and web hosting and create a landing page or have a high-converting landing page created for you. Then you can collect emails with an autoresponder such as GetResponse and follow up and promote the same offer many times to your prospects.
Email marketing is the best way to make money online as an affiliate hands down. I recommend looking at your competition in your niche to decide what type of copy you want to use for it. The best thing to do is to find at least 10 top-selling products in your niche get some email swipes made then upload them to your autoresponder that will automatically send out emails for you then get your landing page made and start sending traffic to it.
If you’re not on a tight budget I recommend using solo ads from Udimi for sending laser-targeted traffic especially if you are in a top evergreen niche like MMO. You can also find very high-quality solo ad vendors in Facebook groups if you are in a different niche.
As far as giving potential leads an incentive to sign up to your email list you need need to have a free bonus to offer and this can come in the form of content you created or a PLR product.
PLR stands for Private Lable Rights and you can Google search “buy PLR Products + niche name” There are many out there just pick a good one to give away just as a thank you. As a side tip, however, make sure the PLR product is up to date especially if it’s in the MMO (make money online) niche.
How Much Do Affiliate Marketers Make?
Most make less than 1K while others make 100k+ (monthly) with affiliate marketing. The key factor is how much traffic are you able to generate. Your ability to master content creation determines how much traffic you can generate unless you are doing paid advertising.
Selling someone else’s products can be very fun and profitable for you as long as you take the required steps and are consistent with your efforts. If you run into some stumbling blocks along the way just don’t give up. Focus and consistency are the key factors to winning this game.
